Here is another image of the deep blue master bath. We painted the walls in this bathroom a deep ocean blue and white. They complement the ocean blue water pigment stained cement floors. Carolyn worked closely with our client to obtain the look she wanted. The goal was a color dense, bright – but deep blue master bath. We have never worked with water based pigments to stain cement floors. They might replace acid stain as our first choice forĀ  future projects.

All of the cement floors in this house have in-floor radiant heat. We always suggest clients install them, even if they choose not to use that particular heating system. The costs are minimal to install, and to add it later is a possibility. We feel that having the in-floor radiant option with possible solar hot water hook up, helps the resale value of any home.

The bedroom was also painted rich, dark tones as seen in prior gallery images. The color combinations create a rich feel to the rooms, when all of the eclectic furniture were put into place.

We all chose to continue the mosaic pattern in the shower to the ceiling to add visual height to the room. The combination of swirled patterns in deep blue floor, and mosaic shower design are stunning.
