This image features an alternative view of the metro tiles in the walk-in shower.  Like other areas in the house, strong graphic patterns were chosen for the bench and floor of the shower.

With the slight slope that needs to occur to ensure proper drainage, lining up large graphic patterned tiles can be tricky. And require adjustments with multiple tile cuts.

Unlike the other cement tiles used in the bedroom and living area – these tiles were ceramic. A crucial detail given they are in a shower subjected to a variety of soaps and other products. Putting in an unsealed tile in a bathroom area would cause clean up challenges in the future.

We again used small metal channels to edge the tiled walls. A creative type of bull nose, given these types of tiles don’t often come with a bull nose. Or families opt to not use a bull nose. It all depends upon the style a family wants for a finished product.
