A close up image of the acid stain with copper tones flooring. This is the second project where we have been asked to provide an acid stained cement floor, so have gotten to know the process well. This floor has electric hot water heated in-floor radiant heating to keep the room warm and toasty in the cooler months.
The plan for this room is to become an exercise room, however there is enough room to add a small office area if needed.
We enjoy the variations which naturally appear with acid stains and this color seems to highlight rich tones rather well. Our clients here (and friends) took a tour of a project we created the year before and fell in love with the copper tones. Here is another example of the look of this flooring, in a much larger space – a photography studio in El Rito, New Mexico. You can see the contrasting looks of the light wall colors and higher ceilings have with each of these projects.
