window with dark sill and bright colors

This feature photo shows in the master bedroom a window with dark sill and bright colors and the view outside. The custom window sills where stained with a custom walnut stain we created and used throughout the home. The sills are simply pine planks stained and placed. The dark tones of the stains work nicely with the rich purple tones of this one purple wall in the master bedroom. As mentioned in prior photos, the other three walls in the room are painted a rich, deep teal tone. Quite dramatic when combined with the dark sea blue flooring we created (images in this gallery).
