Plastered walls verses painted walls. Seen here are the contrasting textures of an earthen plastered wall when compared to a painted wall. The wall right features our velvety earthen high end plaster finish, and opposite is the (very bright) crisp painted wall. The intention of those designing the home was to have the contrast our earthen touches provided.
As mentioned, we were brought into this project to simply advise and create the adobe walls and provide the earthen plastering. The only second ever sub-contracting job we have taken on. We don’t often step into projects of other builders, as we build ourselves from foundation to finish.
