The design of the bench was created to fit the 8 inch by 8 inch white and black graphic pattern. The challenge was to fit the tiles against the complicated metro tiled walls. As any bathroom tiler knows, the bench needs to tilt slightly forward in order for water to run off and not sit. A perfectly flat surface would not be acceptable for the bench top.
This custom shower was one of our most challenging given the sheer number of tiles we had to apply and the complexity of the graphic patterns. As mentioned in the prior image, when designing a custom bath or shower element, we caution our clients about the added cost when envisioning something complex.
