This view of the shower pan tiles shows the details of 2″ mosaic tiles meeting the 12″ squares and mosaic stripe featured in the shower. The floor of the shower pan is one shade darker from the mail tiles used in the overall design, for a slight bit of contrast. That design element was repeated in the niches to create an cohesive design feature.
The goal was to use mosaics to create interest in the shower stall, without being overbearing or busy. The result has a clean and minimalist look. Using the main tiles – the “Touch Series” from Arizona Tile in the shower stall and floors, was the crowning touch. The elegant look to that series, having a texture resembling a linen shirt and a slight shimmer built into the porcelain has made everyone who has seen the new master bathroom stop and admire the results.
