Shown here is one of the dormers, a roofing demo after image – showing the new roofing felt and ready to receive the galvalume silver metal roofing. The crisp new valley with its multiple layers of roofing felt is now secured for many years. The pitch on this dormer was a rather mellow one verses some of the smaller ones and did not provide the same challenge (thankfully) to install any of the steps toward completing it.
The old adobe historical house with it’s new roof in place is slowly at this point taking on a fresh new look, the silver gavalume contrasting nicely with the brightly painted trim on the home. This old adobe home in northern New Mexico is indeed undergoing quite a transformation in general, given the old roofing was rusted and had different materials on it giving an lack of uniform to the house in general.
