The curved cob walls in the bathroom made it a perfect choice for Carolyn to execute a custom mosaic-tiled bathtub and wall design. Norbert and Carolyn worked in tandem to create the bathroom of their dreams. Using travertine stone tiles and an inexpensive ceramic bathtub, they created a bathtub surround that enhanced the tub space dramatically with a stepped up design which turned out beautifully.
Additional features of this extreme custom bathroom that were executed by us – include two cement counter tops created by Norbert-which step from the bathtub to the drop-in bowl stone sink, whose color tones complement the travertine tile work. The feel of the bathroom with the in-floor radiant heating system, is warm, cozy and very elegant. Given we had so much fun with the design and execution of this bathroom, we can’t help but make it vote it one of our favorites and we will enjoy it – always.
