The double thick adobe walls and uneven old adobe construction required a scribed contoured window frame for this new small window. Not only did the walls bow a bit they also tapered to some degree in over the width of the double laid adobe bricks.

Norbert, as always was not daunted by any of those design challenges and scribed this window frame flawlessly. The crisp white look of the freshly painted walls and new frame make for a nice contrast in this garage turned into an office and studio. This is one of our favorite images as it combines crisp new elements with classic flawed beauty.
