Large Kitchen Island

This image features the large kitchen island and dining bar. The front steel panels are attached to the steel metal frame. The natural mottled tones of the steel panels are an interesting look for the island.

Norbert worked with steel fabricators and welders to create the kitchen cabinets, island and large dining bar.

The steel panels were left unsealed, as was the soapstone countertop. We would not recommend unsealing either of those but was the choice of our client. Wear and tear and stains will develop over time especially in an area where meals will be prepared and eaten.

This image shows the grey and white tones which create dramatic contrast between the island, steel panels and troweled cement slab floor.
