Photo showing the view of downstairs adobe home Sedona, Arizona. Up on the second story landing where this photo was taken, we can see the gold earthen plaster to framed then painted wall transition (photo middle) and the curved adobe wall below which serves as the main design element of the entry foyer. The interior walls upstairs and down are framed with sheet rock and painted a subtle tone to complement the gold earthen plastered walls. The tall ceilings of the entryway is very much evident in this photo. That design element not only creates good light in the home but the dramatic effect in the house overall is one of our favorite aspects of this adobe home. This house will always be a favorite of ours given the great owners and the nice finished product and the slightly sentimental aspect of being the first project where Norbert and Carolyn partnered.
