A photo of a rough finish tan earthen plaster bedroom which creates a contrast of rustic contrasting the elegant interior finishing in this bedroom. Per the client’s request the walls in this room have a floated (verses more polished) texture and have fine chopped straw visable for an organic touch. The earthen floors we laid were inlaid with old worn bricks and small inlaid stones. The finish on the floor was requested to not be a high polish like our usual earthen floors, but a bit uneven with trowel marks.
The decor which was added much after we finished our work as you can see, is high end organic and elegant with natural touches throughout. The contrasting tones of the creams against the tan floor and walls makes for a very pretty touch. Credit must go to the interior designer and owner for choosing such lovely details in the finished room.
