A view of this straw bale house foundation stem wall in progress at the One Straw Farm house project built to code in Penasco, New Mexico. Our involvement with this project was part time only – with Norbert hired as one of the helpers to help complete the straw bale home to the point of having the roof completed following a two week straw bale workshop lead by architect Alfred von Bachmayr and the World Hands Project. This project is not part of an Earthen Touch Natural Builders contracted project, but one where Norbert worked on before he and Carolyn began working together full time.
