This Spanish tiled mirror half bath image features one of Carolyn’s favorite projects. She was given a handful of talavera (Mexican) tiles and asked to create a design around an arched mirror. She is in heaven when given tiles to arrange and fit into a design!
This small half bath (called powder room on the project) also received one of our sage green custom plasters and an accompanying design to the mirror was created for the window sills.
The owners bought a bright Mexican tiled bowl ceramic patterned bathroom sink which sat in a rod iron stand. The only tricky aspect to this design was the fact that the electrical connection had been been determined with only a rough idea of what the mirror elements might be. So the design needed to wrap around the antique bronze light fixture.
