An image of the Mexican tiled risers and stairs in this adobe home in Sedona, Arizona. Featured here are the contrasting orange tone of the various tiles which bring out the Southwest decor throughout the house. The decorative talavera Mexican tiles on the risers and a standard floor tile for the steps. The colors contrast nicely with the light gold toned painted walls and black of the custom rod iron railing which Carolyn helped the owners design.

These crisp stairs make a nice transition to the hard wood flooring we installed for all of the upstairs rooms (except bathrooms, of course). The second story holds an combined office and work out room and guest bedroom and bath which are separated from the master bedroom which sits off the main living space on the first floor.
