The creative funky design of this adobe house was maintained as much as possible, with fresh touches added to blend it with the new addition-such as the new half wall earthen plastered shown here. This wall dividing the old space into a new bedroom area, has a custom green sage kaolin clay plaster on the stick framed walls. The old section of the old small adobe home, was modified to create a reading nook by painting the walls with a healthy non-VOC paints to unify the space. The small built in shelves were painted bright colors to brighten them up and to add to the overall bright colors used throughout the adobe home.
