The final lovely touch for the interior of this newly renovated geodesic dome home office just north of Santa Fe, New Mexico was the kaolin gold earthen plaster. As seen in this photo just after the bamboo flooring had been laid, the last touch was to then plaster carefully down to the new floor with it’s in-floor radiant heat.
Our client who will be working and holding workshops and sessions in this new home office, chose one of our most popular plaster colors (for both ourselves and our clients). That of a vibrant gold soft kaolin earthen plaster. The warmth of both the fine plaster as it contrasts with the dramatic tones of the bamboo flooring makes for a inviting interior to this work space. Actually upon entering this space, a person tend to relax and melt into the fine colors and shape of the geodesic dome, at least we do when we are able to visit.
