Gas fireplace new tile pad – shown here. As requested by our clients, we moved the fireplace to a better location. Placing it in the corner opened up room. We used the same saltillo tiles we later laid in the kitchen to create the new fireplace pad. The tones in the new tiles contrast nicely with the newly poured earthen floor. We also cleaned up the half wall gypsum plaster as done on prior walls.
