Norbert created this brushed metal custom door knob detail for the sun room door which leads to the living room in our straw bale hybrid home. This double paneled arched door, hand-made by Norbert which features artwork on the interior by artist Nicholas Herrera from El Rito, NM called out for some unique detailing. We searched for something different and settled upon these black ceramic door knobs from India found at a specialty store. Norbert then created a brushed steel surround cut from a larger steel panel to create a graphic detail we felt fit the door perfectly and complemented the folk art painted on the door panels well.
