Completed kitchen renovation – seen here. This older adobe home now has it’s new contemporary kitchen. New custom cement tiles with an old world Spanish flair. The large mosaic adding an simple graphic touch. Metal trim finishing off the thick tiles. An “eco” counter top made with partial recycled materials. Our signature hand milled pine plank window sills added.

Overhead cabinets with the old trim removed, then re-finished and re-stained. The lower cabinets dropped down a few inches to be more “owner” friendly. Repairs made to the bumpy adobe walls and newly painted. New stainless steel contemporary appliances installed and the range hood modified by Norbert.

Below cabinets modified and shelves added to what was an old broom closet. That closet rewired to now hold and hide a microwave oven. The old saltillo tiles have been cleaned and newly painted wood kick plates added. Glass shelving was added and LED lights to make one cabinet a showcase for Nambe pottery. LED under mounted lights were added in select overhead cabinets. New wiring was added to allow for the added spot lights. A new simple three tier light added for an elegant centerpiece light.

We love the new look of the kitchen and all involved walked away happy with the new contemporary feel to the kitchen.
